The MONOCUT work is created by utilising two languages of construction. 1. blueprints and architectural designs and 2. monochromatic and geometric abstraction. The work focuses on the flatness of the picture plane and the physicality of the canvas frame. The context of the work shifts between a two dimensional representation and a three dimensional construction.
